This app will help you pinpoint the best spot to view the eclipse.
Visually see the path of the eclipse on the map screen with the centerline of totality, along with the north and south limits of totality. For maximum eclipse duration you need to be close to the totality centerline.
On the map you can see your current location along with the ability to drop a pin at any location you choose. On the totality screen you can view eclipse information for those points including:

- Obscuration of the sun
- Totality Duration Amount
- Eclipse Begin Time
- Suns Altitude at that time
- Direction of the sun at that time
- Totality Begin Time
- Suns Altitude at that time

Note the app requires an Internet connection to download maps from Apple as well as eclipse data from the U.S. Naval Observatory.
